Unsurprisingly, fever or night sweats were most common among people whose IBD was active throughout the year. get well soon!

Hi, I am now 38 but was diagnosed with crohn's when I was 27. I had hyperhydrosis from my early teens as well as crohn's symptoms. Having crohn's symptoms means I also usually have an underlying fever and then I am much more likely to overheat. Other poster is right too, both do relate to stress and that definitely makes both worse for me. As for whether they are "related" in the medical world, meh, it seems that they don't know much really, every time I speak to a doctor I feel like I know more than them, just living with it and paying an interest, there are probably links but the medical world haven't got there yet. Welcome to the frontiers of pain and suffering lol

Hello,
As far as I know there are no scientific links between the two deseases, but I think that both are often stress-related..
Maybe your doctor can help you determine whether or not there is a connection between them!
